Today I'll be reviewing the Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Water. I really love Innisfree and their skincare products work really well with my skin.
This retails for 12,000 ₩ at the Innisfree store, and on Innisfree's website it retails for USD $14.
When I buy Korean cosmetics online, I usually like to buy together with my friends because sometimes if you buy a certain amount, you can get a discount, or free shipping. I ended up getting this for $7 during Innisfree's anniversary sale about 6 months ago.
The first time I tried this product was at an Innisfree store in Singapore. They have these next to the makeup products so you can wipe off makeup that you tested. When I used it to clean the makeup off my hand, I thought it was pretty good. Later, one of my friends who had this cleansing water recommended it to me so now I don't really have a reason not to buy right? LOL
Instead of using 2 cotton pads on top of the pump, I like to use 1 at a time, and sometimes I won't even need to use 2, then I can save cotton pads ^-^
Another way to use this cleansing water is to check for and remove any leftover makeup residue post cleansing.
From the Innisfree website:
I've seen online where this cleansing water was called "Green Tea Pure Cleansing Water" with 80% natural origin ingredients and another with 85%. The bottle I have doesn't have either of those on the bottle, and just says "Green Tea Cleansing Water," so I am not sure if it's some type of new packaging or a reformulation or something.
Like Innisfree stated, if you have light point makeup, like tinted lip balm, this cleansing water should be fine. However, I use a separate remover if I am wearing any eye makeup or stronger lip makeup. If your eyeshadow has any shimmers or glitters in it, it probably won't be completely removed.
PROS
* Easy pump packaging
* Removes simple makeup well
* Inexpensive
* Non-drying
CONS
* Slightly sticky finish
* Stings if it gets in the eyes

How To Use
Directions on the bottle:
"Place 2 sheets of cotton pads on top of pump and gently press downward. Use
wet cotton pads to softly swipe across your face. Whenever you feel that
your skin is dry finish by washing only with water after product use."

Packaging
This green tea cleansing water has a very Innisfree type packaging with the leaves and green color. In general I think Innisfree’s packaging is pleasing to look at. This cleansing water comes in 300mL plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I really like this type of pump packaging because you don't have to worry about spillage, it's hygienic, and once you finish it you can refill it with another cleansing water or toner or whatever you'd like to fill it with.I've seen online where this cleansing water was called "Green Tea Pure Cleansing Water" with 80% natural origin ingredients and another with 85%. Scent
The cleansing water has a very "Innisfree" scent. It smells fresh and clean. I wouldn't say that it has a strong scent, but it isn't lightly scented either, although fragrance is the last thing in the ingredients list. I personally like this scent, but if you're very sensitive to fragrance, you might not like this product.
Performance
I have been using this cleansing water for about 6 months, but I don't use it every day. I think this cleansing water removes makeup and dirt off my face pretty well. I use it most when my makeup is very light and I'm feeling lazy. It leaves a slightly sticky film, but it's not really a problem for me because I use another cleanser after that. If you're feeling super lazy and have little to no makeup on, you can wipe your face with a toner after using this cleansing water (although it's much better to always double cleanse)
The cleansing water is pretty gentle on the skin, but it stings if it gets in your eyeballs.

A bit of the mascara left behind; this mascara is not waterproof! It is even harder to remove waterproof mascara. |

Final Thoughts
I think that this cleansing water is a really good deal. The Innisfree website has sales all the time so you can likely buy this cleansing water for less than the retail price. In my opinion, paying $14 for 300mL of cleansing water is not bad, and if you can get it for $7, even better!
This cleansing water didn't give my skin any trouble, and it feels very refreshing. I really love the pump bottle and can't wait to repurpose it. I believe this would work on all skin types, and I do enjoy using this cleansing water. I will probably repurchase this soon. PROS
